Introduction
The future is not unwritten is a smart film about artificial intelligence and transhumanism. It works as an open-ended narrative, which evolves endlessly using machine-learning code. The Ai takes over the editing of the film and reconstructs it over and over again. A female avatar acts as continious protagonist, who is addressing the audience with questions about the future of mankind and human existence.

Approach
The influence of technology on people already lead to major changes and will continue to do so in the coming decades. The continuous development of human abilities through technological achievements leads to something one could call "extended" beings. A new era in which man and machine are growing together is heralding as the era of transhumanism. The audience is guided through an infinite cycle of five content-related islands. Each island consists of human narratives and artificial interpretation, which are increasingly intertwined and mutually dependent. A process of transformation - from human and artificial to hybrid - begins. The film represents this as a utopian idea.
Outcome
The room-in-room installation combines the digital aspect of the infinite film with the natural. In a semi-transparent room, visitors step onto a haptic and fragrant underground. You don't encounter the new, the strange in a sterile room, but only in relation to the forest.
