Approach
As part of Arizona State University, the CPT (Center for Philosophical Technologies) facilitates the interdisciplinary discourse between technology and philosophy. Philosophers, designers, artists, scientists, critics, and creatives from all disciplines collaborate, investigate, and reflect on the realities of human life in the 21st century. Techniques Journal is published several times a year to discuss current and urging questions.
Outcome
The online platform functions as an academic journal, art magazine, curatorial platform and design experiment at the same time. A clear and minimalist visual language puts the content in focus. Audio and video contributions are equal to text and image. A comment function allows each reader to actively participate in the discourse. In this engagement, opinions and perspectives can simultaneously coexist, mingle and grow independently.
