A digital frame for NFT projects with character

In cooperation with Metadibs, ORE ORE ORE has developed his vision. The idea is to enclose artworks in a way that gives them a kind of digital picture frame.

Introduction

Since his first NFT drop “ORES 100 Drop”, Berlin-based anime artist ORE ORE ORE has had the idea of not only distributing digital artworks as two-dimensional visualisations in the vastness of the metaverse, but also giving them and their owners a personal value. In cooperation with Metadibs, he’s developed his vision. The idea is to enclose artworks in a way that gives them a kind of digital picture frame. ORE ORE ORE turned to Moby Digg to make that vision available on a website for both fans and artists.

Approach

Like the project, the concept follows the approach of framing: Each section of the website should be perceived as independent and at the same time be recognizable as belonging together. Through the use of large headlines and large format images, which are set very tightly, we create this recognizable affiliation. The attention to detail and small micro-interactions are to reflect the emotional component of the vision. Encasing one’s NFT strengthens the community by increasing the emotional value for NFT holders.

Outcome

The balanced design of the website is broken up by large format images and detail shots. The moving headlines that stretch across the full width of the website like banners, as well as the slightly elevating headlines, represent exciting micro-interactions in the user experience. The digital feel of the moving cases is also translated through sparkling and glow effect.

The cases of the “ORES 100 Drop” feature small reflective stickers that have found their way into the design as a detail element: The logo, divided into two sections, includes the color elements of a hologram. The green, yellow, orange and pink tones in combination with the significant glow create a 3D effect. This glow displays the hover effect throughout the user experience. This also gives the logo a tangible digital character.
